Is this place for me?
That’s why you clicked on the “New? Start here button,” right? You were wondering if maybe this Kelsey girl just wrote one good post that pertains to you but she’s really a whack-a-doo.
Like who even uses the word “whack-a-doo” anyways?
This girl, who is ridiculously awkward (like cringe-worthy so).
But she hopes that won’t scare you away, but instead that you’ll find your “me too” here. You see, I believe “me” and “too” are two of the most powerful words when places next to each other.
It’s why I lay it all out there. (Like I did in this post and this post and this post… you get the idea.)
Struggles and quirkiness and differences don’t exclude you from The Unabashed Life but instead invite you in with open arms.
So this is the part where I tell you what exactly The Unabashed Life is…
So here it is in a few bullet points (I really love bullet points by the way. Because I’m a skimmer, but I’ll stop and read bullet points.)
It’s where we
- learn to see ourselves like God does (find our identity in Christ)
- embrace and love our uniqueness (even if you’re a quirky, awkward me…)
- stay rooted in Truth
- and seek wholeness
Yeah, I get it. You were with me until we got to the wholeness part. I know. I’m still working out what the means, too. But I know this—when we are rooted in Truth, it changes all the other areas of our life—from our health to our families to our jobs.
So seeking wholeness to me is all about Christ being a part of every area of our lives.
So is this place for you?
Only you can answer that—but if you decide it is, I’ve got a gift for you!
